These fit in the spring pockets very tightly plus the steel bushings wouldnt work for my application. I only drove the car about 2 miles before putting it away for the winter ( Michigan salt) but it rode great.

My overall impression of these rear leaf spring pads are favorable. I replaced the pads in my 1968 Pontiac Firebird. They were easy to install but did not slip right in as they were too wide out of the box. I needed to remove material from the both edges of the two upper pads with a bench grinder before they would fit up into the existing spring perches. Not a big deal, but I didn't expect modification would be required. Once installed, I was pleased with the improvement in the ride. I would not hesitate to purchase these parts again.
